Our Modern Acrylic Freestanding bathtubs are manufactured of 8mm thick heavy gauge sanitary grade precision acrylic extrusions which are considerably heavier than those found in most other products. All our bathtubs feature a built in metal base frame, adjustable metal legs and a cable drive pop up waste-overflow fitting.
The majority of Aquatica freestanding acrylic bathtubs are stamped from 2 very large sheets of acrylic and then, to help ensure durability, strengthened with fiberglass backing.We are proud to present several premium models with exclusive monobloc (single piece) luxurious design which are manufactured with our exclusive seamless technology which is achieved by fusing the 2 parts with no visible seams.
Aquatica freestanding acrylic bathtubs are lightweight, are generally less expensive than bathtubs constructed of other materials like synthetic resin and require very little maintenance. Also, Aquatica freestanding tubs can be repaired easily, should scratches, cracks or dents occur.
Aquatica freestanding bathtubs are colorfast and the color is never painted onto the surface of the tub. The tubs are constructed of colored acrylic sheets, therefore the color is fast throughout which eliminates the possibility of color fading over time.

The finish of acrylic bathtubs is also protected against damage from most household cleaners and chemicals. However, there are some chemicals that will damage the surface such as acetone, and paint removers or thinners. A simple household cleaner will do the job of removing tough stains from an acrylic bathtub when running water will not do the trick.
